Components of the NOWA water damage detection systems

Reliability.
Speed.
Security.

The most efficient system deserves the most advanced components.

Every second saved between the beginning and end of a water leak reduces the extent of the damage. That’s why NOWA only uses advanced technologies that reduce detection-reaction time to a minimum. This promise of reliability is anchored in high-quality components that meet the highest standards.

Electronic valve

Stop water at source

Thanks to its control panel which automatically triggers the electric valve to shut off the water main, NOWA is the only reliable system to be able to stop water damage at source. Your NOWA valve is always ready to shut off water safely, even after long periods when nothing happens.

  • Removable actuator that’s easy to disconnect from the valve
  • Durable ball valve meeting the highest quality and pressure standards
  • Hardwired to the NOWA 360 control panel for fastest reaction time
  • 3-year warranty

2.0 Water sensor

Quickly detect water leaks

Prevent potential damage caused by water leaks with the NOWA 2.0 sensor. This second-generation sensor detects both water and frost. It alerts you in seconds to any potential damage. Thanks to its proven wireless technology, it emits an alert as soon as water is detected by one of its four contact points or when the temperature drops below 5°C (41°F). Its compact design makes it easy to install in any high-risk area: sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc. The 2.0 water sensor can also be connected to a perimeter cable to detect the smallest leak, even inside walls.

  • Four gold-plated detection poles to prevent oxidation
  • Precise detection of a minimum water level of 0.4 mm (0.015 in.)
  • Thermometric sensor to detect frost
  • Supervision of battery and communications
  • Easily replaceable battery with up to 7 years of life
  • 2-year warranty

Perimeter sensor

Extend the protection perimeter

The perimeter cable detects water over a 6-foot distance. It’s ideal for encircling a water heater or covering the space underneath appliances. Cables can even be connected in sequence to cover an entire room.

Perimeter cables need to be connected to a triangle sensor to work.

If NOWA is now the brand most often recommended by insurers when it comes to water damage protection, it's because they're confident that a detected leak won’t turn into a claim.
