How do NOWA water leak prevention systems work?

Protection for your home, condo, or building begins the second your NOWA system is installed. In the event of a leak detection, everything happens without any intervention on your part. Whether it occurs when you’re away, day or night, tomorrow or ten years from now, the water leak will be detected and stopped.

Monitor
Water and freeze sensors are strategically placed in the areas most at risk of leaks: under sinks, toilets, washing machines, water heaters, dishwashers, bathtubs, showers, refrigerators, and more.
Detect
As soon as water is detected, an alert signal is instantly sent to the NOWA smart control panel, which then triggers the automatic shut-off of the electric valve.
Stop
Since the valve is installed directly on the main water supply feeding the entire home, the water flow is cut off regardless of where the leak is located and without any intervention on your part.
Notify
A notification through the PRESENCE mobile app and the smart control panel alerts you that the valve has been shut off and tells you which area is affected. The worst has already been prevented. You can go about your day stress-free.
