NOWA 4Se benefits

The day a water leak occurs in your home, only one thing will matter: the choice you’re about to make right now. By choosing a NOWA 4Se system for your home, you can rest assured you’ve done all it takes to prevent the worst. NOWA delivers reliability and simplicity at an affordable price.

Reliability

Whether a water leak occurs when you’re away, day or night, tomorrow or ten years from now, it will be quickly detected and stopped with NOWA 4Se.

With a 0.4 mm (0.015 in.) clearance between its detection poles and the floor, the second-generation NOWA water sensor can spot a puddle as small as the one left by a glass of water. As soon as water touches 2 of the 4 contact poles, a signal is sent. Within seconds, the main water supply shuts off to prevent potentially catastrophic damage.

The connection between the sensors et the valve control unit is critical. That’s why NOWA 4Se uses low frequencies (319 MHz) as its communication method. They ensure a constant signal free from any interference. This radio frequency system is proven, secure, and powerful. It can cover an area of up to 5,000 sq. ft. Perfect for covering an entire home.

The electric valve is connected to the control panel via hardwire. The valve’s response to an alert is therefore fail-safe and extremely fast. In the event of a power outage, the system continues to operate thanks to its integrated backup battery. The battery has a 7-year lifespan, and you’ll always be notified when it reaches a low level.

The 4Se system performs regular routine self-tests. You can be assured that the valve and all sensors will be working when it really matters.

Detection tests

The 4Se control unit checks for the presence of the sensors every day. You’re notified if one of them stops responding, with its precise location.

Valve tests

Every week, the electric ball valve performs a closing and reopening cycle. Through this simple rotation, it validates proper operation while extending its lifespan to over 100 years.

Simplicity

The user was placed at the center of every aspect of the NOWA 4Se system during its design. Choose the system that simplifies your life.

NOWA’s fourth-generation systems are the only ones to offer a screen. They communicate in clear, understandable language that doesn’t just beep when something is wrong. The control panel screen tells you what’s happening during an event. And it serves as a guide to help you use the system.

Built-in user guide

Using the control panel comes down to three buttons. Each has a simple, well-defined function highlighted by an icon. The button backlighting also serves as a visual guide indicating the next required action.

In addition to the information displayed on the screen, the LED indicator informs you of the system's overall status using a color code.

Red: Alarm
Alternating red/blue: Alarm (can be reset)
Yellow: Trouble
Alternating red/yellow: Alarm and trouble

You put effort into your interior design—there’s no reason to compromise it with a device that clashes with your decor. Small, slim, and simple in appearance, the sensors were also designed to discreetly fit into any setting and can easily slide under any household appliance that requires monitoring.

The sleek, timeless design of the 4Se control panel blends seamlessly with any home style.
